TURKANA CHRISTIAN DEVELOPMENT MISSION
is a local organization based in Lodwar, Loima and Kakuma in Turkana County, it was founded in 2013 as CBO and legally registered as NGO in 2018 to respond to
ever rising social economic needs of youth and young poor mothers in rural Turkana. We design innovative and
participatory programs to mitigate the negative effects of poverty, environment and social economic exclusion among youth, young women in an environmentally sustainable manner.
The organization strives to improve the lives of people living in one of the poorest rural areas of Kenya, Turkana. Many of the people we help find themselves trapped in a cycle of poverty, unable to escape their hardship without support.
We believe every child and youth deserves a chance to unleash his or her potential regardless of financial capability an education and it’s our passion to see children and the communities we support empowered and have their potentials unlocked through education and skills,
then there’s no doubt that we are making a significant impact.
